ABOUT

CASI INFINITO STUDIOS

PETER CATALANO (PRODUCER / MIXER)

Peter Catalano is a professional music producer and mixing engineer based outside Atlanta, Georgia, where he owns and operates Casi Infinito Studios - a private studio designed for independent artists and bands seeking exceptional work.

Peter's private studio provides a safe, relaxing, and inspiring environment where clients can fully focus on their performance and creativity without distractions. Unlike traditional setups, he is deeply invested in every project, collaborating closely with artists to guide them toward their desired vision. He is not the type to sit back and "press record" - Peter actively contributes to the creative process, ensuring the final product exceeds expectations.

With more than 15 years of hands-on studio experience, Peter began his career in 2007 as an intern at Killingsworth Recording Company on Long Island, New York. Since then, he has honed his craft to deliver timeless recordings and professional mixing services that elevate artists' careers. His goal is simple yet ambitious: to transform "almost infinite" tracks into timeless sound recordings - polished, emotive, and built to last.

What sets Peter apart in the world of audio mixing services and music production is his client-focused approach. He charges by the song (including full mixing), freeing artists from the pressure of the clock so they can concentrate purely on their music. Reasonable mix revisions are included at no extra cost, allowing for iterative collaboration until the mix is perfect. This friendly, transparent, and supportive process stands out in an industry that can often feel impersonal.

Drawing inspiration from legendary producers and mixers - both classic and contemporary—such as Jerry Finn, Chris Lord-Alge (CLA), Tom Lord-Alge (TLA), Brett Gurewitz, Will Yip, John Feldmann, Peter Katis, Rob Cavallo, Travis Barker, Mark Trombino, and Sam Guaiana - Peter blends timeless techniques with modern sensibilities to create recordings that resonate deeply.

Beyond music, Peter is a full-time entrepreneur leading businesses in industrial manufacturing, media, and more. He is the owner/operator of Casi Infinito Studios and 59 X Records, where he has produced and mixed projects for a variety of local Atlanta bands. Peter holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Clemson University and an MBA from Georgia State University, bringing analytical depth and business acumen to his creative work.

'Casi Infinito' translates to 'almost infinite', an unfortunate outcome for many artists that are unable to bring their vision to life. Peter's ultimate goal for his clients is to elevate from 'almost infinite' to 'timeless' sound recordings. Or perhaps it's just the name of a song by a band named The Carolyn, a band Peter has worked with since their inception.
